The Aqara Valve Controller T1 uses Zigbee for smart water/gas pipeline control, supporting app, and manual operation. It installs on existing valves without plumbing. Integrated with water/gas leak detectors, it can automatically shut off water or gas when you’re away, ensuring safety and peace of mind.

• Always-On Monitoring and Automatic Shutoff:: The Valve Controller T1 provides real-time monitoring and automatic shutoff when a leak is detected, protecting your home from damage. It integrates with water or gas leak sensors and Aqara Hub to form a comprehensive safety system, shutting off the valve within 5-20* seconds of a leak, minimising risk, and ensuring proactive home safety.
• Multiple Smart Control Options: The Valve Controller T1 offers flexible control methods, including manual control, remote control via the app, and timer settings, ensuring precise and user-friendly operation, which allows users to manage their devices conveniently and efficiently, providing peace of mind.
• Easy Retrofit Installation:  The Valve Controller T1 is easy to install on existing water/gas valves without special tools or plumbings, making it accessible even for users unfamiliar with pipelines. Its user-friendly design allows homeowners to enhance their home’s safety and functionality effortlessly.
• Wide Compatibility for Household Valves:  The Valve Controller T1 is designed for compatibility with various household valves, including lever or butterfly handles, and fits various pipe sizes (DN15, DN20, DN25). It can be installed into most household water valves without additional tools.
• Automation with Aqara Home and Third-Party Device:: An Aqara Zigbee Hub is required**, With Matter over Bridge support***, The Controller supports allowing seamless integration with Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Aqara Home app (iOS/Android), and so on. This compatibility enhances the smart home experience by easily integrating it into their existing smart home systems.
• Long Battery Life and Durability:   Using of 4 AA batteries eliminates the hassle of additional wiring. With its low-power consumption design, the Valve Controller T1 can last for up to 2 years on a single set of batteries****, providing continuous, dependable water and gas safety for an extended period. 

*The greater the valve torque, the longer the shutting-off time; the maximum working time is 20S, and an alarm will be triggered when the time is exceeded.

***Matter over bridge support requires a Matter controller for the corresponding ecosystem.

IF Absence detected for 1 day or more, THEN Turn off the valve in the house

For users who need to travel or go out, the valve can automatically switch on and off depending on whether the user is at home or not

A Thermostat Option For Those Who Cannot Use A Thermostatic Radiator Valve

IF Presence detectors detect absence for more the 5 minutes, THEN Close the radiator valve

In case the valve of your hydronic radiator is compatible with the Valve Controller T1, you will be able to use it as a radiator thermostat for energy-saving and convenience use cases.

*The Valve Controller T1 doesn’t support waterproofing yet. For the patio, lawn, and garden, Aqara Valve Controller T1 needs to be installed on the indoor valve to control outdoor pipelines.
